ontos verlag is an independent German publishing house devoted to Mathematics and to furthering a scientific style of philosophy in the tradition of Aristotle, the scholastics and recent analytical philosophy. The main fields of interest are mathematical and philosophical logic, ontology and metaphysics, epistemology and philosophy of science, history of philosophy – coupled with systematic enquiries, Austrian philosophy and phenomenology, Process Philosophy, as well as practical philosophy such as action theory and meta-ethics. Our book series now number twenty four, all edited by excellent and renowned scholars in their respective areas of research. In addition, our program includes books published independently of the individual series. The languages of publication are German and English. Distribution and marketing of all English-language titles is handled in Great Britain, Ireland, and many countries of Northern, Southern and Eastern Europe by our distributor in Lancaster (U.K.).  The market in North and South America is covered by our distributor in New Brunswick (NJ) (Transaction Books) at the Rutgers University.
